Ryolite is a fine grained volcanic rock, which can be light pink to gray in color and can form in two different ways. One of the ways is from a very explosive eruption which hurls hot lava and fragments of magma into the atmosphere. Gravity eventually brings these fragments back to earth where they are deposited as layers. These fragments may result in stones with unusual patterns that are seen when they are slabbed or polished.

Utah Wonderstone, Rhyolite is an excellent stone for meditation while enhancing the imagination and creativity. This will also add energies of tranquility and relaxation. This stone is also used to help rid tensions and worries which may help reduce symptoms of depression.
